CMP Science Olympiad
Elementary Science Olympiad (Grades 3rd-5th), Division B (Grades 6th-9th)

The goal of Science Olympiad is to provide children with activities designed to spark the imagination and illuminate the world of science. Student teams spend several months meeting to practice, experiment, create and study in preparation for events. Both student and teacher Science Olympiad goals are to improve the quality of science education, increase student interest in science, and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in science education.
An Informational meeting about joining one of CMP’s Science Olympiad Teams will be held on Wednesday, October 16 at 3:15 pm in the Redbud Classroom (on the upper elementary campus).
The Science Olympiad teams are:
- Elementary Science Olympiad (Grades 3rd – 5th)
- Division “B” Science Olympiad (Grades 6th – 8th
Parents and students are encouraged to attend. We will discuss what team membership looks like, develop a team interest list, distribute permission slips for participation, share dates and answer questions.
