I've been teaching at the California Montessori Project school for 16 years. I taught for 13 years in middle school (7th-8th grade). I have taught for 3 years in Kindergarten and First Grade. I am fully convinced on the Montessori method is the best methodology for teaching for all ages. I am happy that you have chosen California Montessori Project for your child.

I am a Resident Teacher earning my Multiple Subject credential. I am excited to start a new career in lower elementary school education. Before teaching, I worked in human resources, merchandising, and consulting. I have worked with kids for most of my life babysitting, tutoring, and volunteering. I love Montessori education for its respect for children and emphasis on fostering their independence. I live in Sacramento with my husband and two kids. When I am not studying or watching my kids play sports I like to sew, cook, and travel!
