Welcome to Middle School!

P.E./Health Teacher: Tom Freer-

Tom Freer has been at CMP since 2009. After several years as a 2/3 Grade teacher, he moved to Middle School. He is passionate about fitness, surfing, and kayaking.

Science Teacher: Bob Thomas-

Bob Thomas started teaching in the Middle School in 2011. Before that, he was a parent volunteer on school trips and helped teach elective classes since the early days of CMP. He has four boys who attended CMP through Middle School. Mr. Thomas teaches English language Arts, Mathematics, and has a weekly technology enrichment class that is super fun. Known as Mr. T by students, he is married to the amazing Mrs. T.

Math Teacher: Kim Yeager-

This is my 20th year at CMP and I have taught at every grade level here at Shingle Springs.  I live in Pollock Pines in a 3 generation household, that includes my son, Josh, who graduated from CMP and is currently attending Sac State.  I am SO very excited to be back in my role as Math Specialist where I get to work on math with 3rd - 8th graders.

History Teacher: Sueanne Zufelt-

I am Sueanne Zufelt or Miss Sueanne. I have been a parent at CMP since 2006 and an employee since 2008. My husband Scott and I have 4 kids who are all CMP graduates. I spent 9 years in the K/1 classes and subbing in all grade levels on campus. My current gig for 5 years now is with the middle school team. I love this often hard and challenging time for 7th and 8th graders as they seek independence, yet need lots of direction and organization. They are awesomely fun and funny to be around as we navigate this tricky stage of life. I have a Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies and my Montessori Early Childhood Certificate. When I am not at school I am training for runs, traveling with family, walking our Newfoundland dog Kobe, eating donuts and watching or listening to crime shows or podcasts.
