Hi, my name is Anna Thimmes, your students know me as Ms. Anna. This is my first year at CMP and my first year as a teacher in my own classroom! I have a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, a Master's degree in Teaching, and a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I am currently working on obtaining my Lower and Upper Elementary Montessori Credentials. My number one goal is to hold a welcoming and safe environment for your students to reach their academic goals. My husband, Sean, and I have a spritely two-year-old who keeps us busy. Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends, playing board games, and taking care of my houseplants.

Hi, I’m Ms. Brandi, a fellow CMP parent and the teaching assistant for Maple class.  We are an animal loving family with 3 dogs, a cat, and a conure.  I am educated in social and behavioral science, early childhood education, psychology, and legal studies.  Because of my vast education, I have a unique ability to see where a student needs support, enabling me to connect with them and help them learn in a way they can understand.  My favorite thing about working in education is the “lightbulb moment.”  When a student finally grasps and masters a task they have been working on.  I am honored to be a part of your child’s education.  “Peace is what every human being is craving for, and it can be brought about by humanity through the child.” ~Dr. Maria Montessori
