Welcome to Magnolia Class!

My name is Hannah Davis and I am one of the teachers in the Magnolia class! I have been at CMP since 2021. I have a BA in Elementary Education and working towards my Masters degree in Reading- Emphasis in Elementary Ed as well as working towards completing my 9-12 Montessori credential. I recently got married to my high school sweetheart and together we have 3 cats (Linguini, Penne, and Capellini). Together we enjoy traveling, playing games and trivia night.

My name is Laura Waugh and I am one of the teachers in the Magnolia classroom. I have been in the 4/5/6 grade level at CMP since 2021. I have been working with Ms. Hannah since 2022 and we absolutely LOVE teaching together! I have a BA in Communications from Dominican University of California and a MBA from CSU Sacramento. I hold a multiple subject teaching credential through CalState TEACH and Montessori certifications through Modern Montessori Teacher Education College. I have been a CMP Shingle Springs parent since 2015 and all three of my children have attended CMP since Kindergarten. My personal teaching philosophy is centered around building relationships and providing academically rigorous yet developmentally appropriate learning environments that meet the students where they are. My personal interests are my husband and three girls, watching soccer, paddleboarding, traveling, hiking and spending time at our cabin in Lake Tahoe. I am passionate about Montessori education and love teaching at CMP!
